1). No nuclear families. Whites, Asians, Indians, and even Hispanics STAY together and keep their nuclear families in tact. Two incomes are better than one and TWO parents in the home helping to raise and educate the children are better than one. Its one of the blueprints making sure your kids understands divorce is not an option and family stick together through all good and bad times. In order to make it in life God intend for all mankind to be a family structure only. Without the family structure, then that structure is forever unstable. We need more African American men and women striving to be a family structure only and the African American male be the king of his castle. Meaning your job is to fix all the problems within your castle. Which is your home.

My father; Oscar Lee Jones once told me, Its very hard raising a family of 5, but it was his goal to make sure we stay a collective as a unit of 1 and not a separated of 5. After 43 years of marriage, I can now say it was easy, but in the beginning I was structuring my family on how I thought a perfect family should be. I couldn't have done it without your mother being there with me. Having two incomes made caring for children affordable. Many times I lost a job, but your mother's income made a way for us until I was the bread winner again.

2). Lack of business education. African American people don't build businesses or the difference in wealth building that create assets to pass down next to kin (and I'm not talking about the few tokens like (John H. Johnson and Madam J. Walker). Not a hustle or side job, but a incorporated company through the state or country you resides in. That has members of management and employees or partnership.  On average black people of TODAY do not know anything about building business that create jobs for us in our community. Own by us and hired by us should be our motto. It is very easy for non-blacks to come into black communities and set up a successful business. Look at the retail hair supply stores or gas stations or fast cash places and liquor stores. We own none of these profitable businesses, because the people there are so clueless as to how to start a business of their own finances. Some don't know good credit score of 720 or higher not only get you a house out the urban neighborhood, also could be approved for first time business line of credit, for up to $25,000. That enough to start any enterprise business, To lease a commercial retail center space within the urban area is the same cost a residential apartment unit in a suburban areas. I have leased to small businesses commercial space and help people as a apartment locator find suitable apartment unit. They are the same cost when you match dollar for dollar by square footage.

3). Lack of a community foundation. This is the product of integration. Once we become "free" we lost our community foundation because many of us decided to take our dollars and wealth to non-black communities. Civil Rights leaders didn't think about the cause and effect by integration. They wanted us to be equal, but our money is still being segregated out the African American community. By leaving our community and supposedly integrating; we lost our community foundation and all that comes with it (businesses, schools, money, political persuasion, etc).

4). African Americans (not all blacks) have become a consumer race... we are not a race of innovators. African Americans will go out and spend hundreds of dollars on tennis shoes and hair, expensive luxury cars, but these same people don't have a Solo 401k, SEP IRA, Defined Benefits Plan, CDARS, or better yet a of piece land that they own outright. Instead of buying the "Acre and mull", we whether rent to own the "Acre and mull", but never finish paying it off as owners.

They will make people like Michael Jordan millionaires, yet Michael Jordan is NOT employing any of us to make his shoes for him. The days when African Americans were actual inventors is long gone. We are not the Garrett Morgan of today; an African American invented the gas mask and the traffic stop light. Why don't we see any technology companies started by African Americans (think of a black "Apple")? Why don't we see any black GMC, Ford, Luxus, Mercedes Benz, or Honda automobile companies? Instead the media show us as rappers, entertainers, or athletes the best of minds. Why? Because African Americans are a race of consumers...not innovators. We highly talented physically race of people, but we lack the mental compacity to be greater of our past, that show us to be extraordinary group of people.

5). It take the whole African American Community: To keep our race and culture ethnically strong. Its going to take your grandmother/father, they stay at home mom/dad, teachers, public or civic leaders, brothers, sisters, aunts, cousins, uncles, next door neighborhood, neighborhood business, schools, churches, neighborhood credit unions, and others within the community. To actively bring our community from the great social depression we have created. It takes a community to raise a child with good role model surrounding their environment. Our environment needs to have more adult role models with a positive influence.

6). African American men is as leadership: challenge all  before you were captive slaves and its seem more strong African American men are in cages; which I called "PRISON" based on their common sense of a bad situation at the wrong place at the wrong time. We have forgotten that the ethnic groups of which came out the worst of predicaments. They beat us, torture us, hanged us, took our civil rights, separated us from our family, took all our assets, and changed our last names. Now over 160 years all we have to show for in the African American men that should be leaders of the community; majority are in prison, dead, or unfit to be married. It was our slaves ancestors who broke their backs for all of us, if only they could see where we are today as walking freed people; they probably think the worst of us. Its very sad that we rather be in the same cages that our ancestor were in 160 years ago.

7). African American group goes to college: They learns how to be EMPLOYEES. And they are perfectly content just being employees and solely providing for their families while their employment situation is in the hands of "Corporations." Often times this group is so removed from other African Americans community that it's almost impossible to imagine them as business owners in the black community. Rather than working together to get ahead. We are fighting each other for the crumbs handed to them we called "Who's has the highest salary and most  money power". When will we understands that we are in the same race together. Some how salary become more important than family over the years and money became more important than growing collectively together as one intelligent culture of people. There is no finish line, just have to pass the baton to our next generation of important leaders.

Wrath, Greed, Pride, Envy, Gluttony, Sloth, and Lust
